I personally dont believe in anything like what we call BUD ROOH or GHOST or EVIL SPIRIT, but i do believe in JIN because its been mentioned in Quran.But hundreds of people including myself who claim to have seen some thing other than human form makes me wanna believe that there is gotta be some truth in it.
Qudrat Ullah Shahab a highly educated personality and a very famous writer narrates one of his personal encounter with a evil spirit in his famous autobiography Shahab Nama .
Evil Spirit can’t be a myth there is gotta be some truth in it.
What do you think? And what does Islam has to say about it?

qudarat ullah shahab has written many things in shahab nama which are super natural "like recieving letters from something"....bamla kumari ki bechain rooh....

They are just another form of creation that God has created as you stated as well that its in the Qur-an. If human being a creation of God can be good and bad, why cant there be good and bad jinns out there, or...here? They are just another creation of God. I think spirit is just the best fit for Jinn in English, and bhoot is just a generalised word like ghost.

Offcourse, there are good and bad Jinns. Everyone should believe at Jinns. Allah Tallah created them out of fire. Few people can see Jinns. Study about "Exorcism". Some Jinns can go into human's body and they can gain control only over those who do not hold true to Allah Tallah. Therefore, it causes to humans to speak incomprehensible words, unknown to itself. Due to that, Exorcism is to be held to that person. Scientists cannot do anything about it, only Religious people can understand that.
