If you look at top 25 least corrupt countries, there is not a single Muslim majority or Hindu majority country there. They are either Christian or Buddhist.
Hindus and Muslims, convert to become less corrupt and more moral.

it should be "dharmam", not "dhammam", that changes the meaning a lot.

Anyway, there are few corrupt buddhists. But corruption is a giant leap for a buddhist while it is just a walk in the park for Hindus and Muslims.
We do not play lazy and lousy game of cricket. But if we did, there won't be match-fixing. Lankans are buddhists and they dont fix matches.

Karokari --- the word is "Dharmam" NOT "Dhammam" and its "Sharanam" NOT "saranam".
In Pali, language in which Buddha wrote, it is dhammam. in sanskrit, it is dharmam.
But that is besides the point. The high level of corruption in Hindus and Muslims is because of their religion. If the change religion, their morality will improve overnight.
At least they should become atheists. The least corrupt country is Denmark where mostly people have no religion. Most of them are not baptized and do not call themselves christian.
So god is the reason of immorality in world. People who believe in god are corrupt. Buddhist anyway do not talk about god.

The Indian subcontinent in which many religions originated is corrupt beyond repair.
Middle east where Islam, Christianity Jaudaism came is very corrupt.
Italy is corrupt cuz Pope lives there.
Go for a responsible religion like Buddhism or at least dump the immoral concept of god. Be moral.

Because NO Muslim country at present, is following Islam strictly by the book.
What they are doing is, taking parts of Islam that suits them,
modifiying and/or ignoring the Real Covenants and coming up with what could be defined loosely as,

First of all, "giant leap" and "walk in the park" prevail in every religion, cast and creed and aren't confined to one/some and not others etc.,
There is atleast one country, which is a Buddhist Majority, where people "follow" Buddhism pretty strictly, and that is Thailand.
I am Very Well versed, with both it's Social, as well as Economic/Commerce workings and
that is why I think that your claims about Buddhist people not being as corrupt or barely corrupt, is nothing but a statement for trying to start a thread for fun or heated debate....

Buddhism is best religion cuz it talks about the right way, right action. Buddha talks about sadness in world which exists and everyone experiences. Buddha tells that right action, right speech will remove sadness. Buddha does not frighten you with fear of imaginary god. It tells you to be responsible.
In other religions this responsibility is missing. They treat people like kindergarten children who can behave good if given bribe of toffee and fear of punishment. They talk of heaven and hell and likes.
Is there any Muslim or Hindu country where people are as honest as Japanese? No way. Why Lanka is most transparent and clean country in South Asia? cuz they are mainly budhdhist.
Forget these unsophisticated, primitive religions. Follow Buddha. Greatest rational intellectual of all times.

Is it true that Japanese would not until recently admit to (let alone apologize for) running brothels casted entirely with Filipinos and Other Orientals?
Is it true that Japan does not bestow her citizenship to “non-Japanese” including Koreans living there for many years and their kids born and raised in Japan? Is it true that Japanese Stores have signs “Foreigners are not allowed” posted on their entrances?

War crimes in WWII were cuz people started worshipping emperor. Now they stopped.
That was a realy quick one, we have problems dating back 1400 years, and you just had a bad emperor and the world including Hiroshima were razed....
