Can we say that we talk about Sikh-Hindu interaction, culture is dominant on religion and when we talk about their interaction with Muslims then religion is the dominant factor.
Culture is ethnic social beliefs and shared values, every ethnicity has its culture and its ethnic language. Punjabis are ethnic community with similar social outlook and shared values and many shared sufi saint, same body language and same physical structure because our ancestors lived side by side, Religion brings new revolutionary and reformist thought into the society which has its cultural due to ethnic similarity and this interface results in new conglomeration of religion with ethnic culture:)
Ethnicity,religion,education, social status all makes a human personality and at the time of crisis one takes prominence, during partition of India it was relgion, at the time of bangladesh war it was ethnic, in modern pakistan it is sectarianism and ethnicity combined:)
so one need not to be judgemental about what define him/her better, it is time that activate commonality of personalities:)
