I think it should be scrapped, or at least undergo many changes.
I don’t think there will ever be a serious, balanced discussion regarding religion. The heated discussions and name calling seems to attract too many extreme left or right wingers (Muslim and nonMuslim) and scares away ppl who realy want to learn something.

If you want to learn something, you really better off with joining a school and looking for a good teacher. Grabing a guy randomly and beg him to teach you will end up in more ignorance than before as 1+1 = 11 in that case.
Religion forum, IMHO, can not be used for a sole purpose of learning your faith but for learning how different faiths are. It can help you broadening the area of thinking about your faith but you can not just convert using the religion forum.
People call their logic is what Islam is all about while Quran states otherwise.
