Haha…I coach youngsters to keep a big bag of green peas in the fridge, they are loaded with proteins and nutrients. You can just put a dash of butter and microwave and you have a nutritious meal or open a can of chick peas or tuna or salmon..why the noodles?

Depends on the doctrine of the religon you talking about.
islam doesn't stop at 'personal practice' - application of the rules on the collective level is very much the core of the religion.
