Re: Religion by Numbers - 4th listed is surprising

Yeah Mon :smokin2:

how they count them ?
The one who says i dont beleive in any religon
or the one who says i beleive in all religon:confused:

matsui

i thought half the world was athiest

No..according to some people in this world. One way is not the only way to god. I am sure if you ask some people in the religion forum they would have the world in two factions. Muslims and the rest. There should be a category for insecure dogmatics. I am sure the numbers would be very high and would be multi-religious.

ReLAAx Mon..hAve a jAM Sand-weech

lemme see if I can dig up that story

Juche is a reliegion? I thought it was the socialist "self reliance" philosophy of North Korea.

Rastafrianism in the list is loooooooooooooooooookin' goooooooooooooooooooood... Bombakalaaaaaaaaaaak! You got the weeeeeeed?

http://www.britishcouncil-usa.org/goingbritish/census.shtml

*The 2001 Census included a question on religion – the first time a religion question has ever been included in a Census and the only question on the form where a response was not compulsory.
While a series of tick-boxes offered respondents a choice of the major UK religions – Christian, Buddist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh – a tick-box for ‘none’ encouraging the populace to write in ‘any other religion’ produced a wealth of support for ‘Star Wars’!

390,000 of the population wrote ‘Jedi’ as their religion on their census form – the interest was driven by an Internet campaign and proved popular in the younger age groups.*

actually while lookignthis up I found out that other countries have had people write jedi as well.

Juche,Rastafarianism, Cao Dai, Tenrikyo, & Neo-Paganism?

never heard of them before. can anyone plz give a brief description about these religions?

If this data was properly collected w/o the individual's biased answers, I hypothesize Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist would be the #1 religion.
