Majority of us follows the religion of our parents.
If we are not injected with the superiority of one religion by default, are not compelled to follow its dogmas, will we necessarily accept the religion of our parents?
At the same time mostely every religion says…‘there is no compulsion in religion’.
2:256 There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.
SHAKIR: And as for the good land, its vegetation springs forth (abundantly) by the permission of its Lord, and (as for) that which is inferior (its herbage) comes forth but scantily; thus do We repeat the communications for a people who give thanks
