What can be more meaningful than spreading the Word of God? This Ummah has the responsibility of the prophets - give Dawah!

agreed :> absolutely true. and also living and learning to be really honest, even when you are or were making a mistake, now changing for better. even Allah swt forgives but the process of realization and repentence, and then coming back with a lot more zeal for a meaningful purpose in life, is the best thing to do. and before that, living up to the moral and social ethics of creating and fulfilling relational interaction with Almighty's provision of fellow human beings.

i see the link everywhere.....its at the bottom / root principles off life...
personaly i tend to run after alot of materialistic things which will be left behind after i am gone...but its the small things in life that i will be subsitutued for in here after....It seems like everyones running busy nowdays worrying about them self and running after money etc....tryin to perfect our lives etc..
may allah give us all strenght to fight the devil and evil temptations that blacken out our minds and eyes when we wake up in this materialistic timez that we live in nowdays.

the things is, most muslims know what the purpose of our lives are.
The hard part is actually doing our level best in acually fulfilling this purpose. I guess Allah SWT judges our intentions, but our efforts have to be there as well.
We cant walk into an exam intending to get 100% w/o studying for it, or worse, studying and then not actually writing anything in the paper!

and this is the reason why ppl choose not to "know"... ignorance is bliss bcoz u cant be judged on something u have no knowledge of.... its as if the Prophet SAW never said that gaining religous knowledge is fardh :(

For me the religion is guide to a perfect living. The purpose of it in connection to the life is to live accordingly, experience life for what it is. When i do wrong, i learn, when i do right, i earn. At the end of the day (death) all my mistakes and successes are tallied up, either i succeed or i fail. Following the religion as it ought to be followed is like having a guide in front of you, and you're given a task. Either you fulfill the task in accordance to the guide, or you skip steps and end up with something that is ugly in character, and incomplete. We all strive to achieve the order of perfection, and that is life, the very struggle to follow the faith/belief/religion, and avoid the temptations that cause you to skip steps in order to achieve the perfection at the end.

Why was I born a Hindu,
why was I born Indian
I used to think I was 'Gods special creation' and had a purpose in life. Now I realise everyone is Gods special creation. We all have to do our duties in life & one day will come when we die.
