I am thinking of donating money every month to The Citizen’s Foundation Pakistan who supposedly have schools all over Pakistan and offer free education. Now, I want to know if they really do have schools and my money really will be spent on educating kids. Does anyone know how reliable they are? Thanks.

Citizen foundation is good mashallah. There are many others doing chairty works like

This is the first time I am hearing something negative about Edhi. I've always trusted them with substantial parts of my Zakat. Therefore I would appreciate it, if you could share some details.

As someone said of edhi, they're great, but as far as I know only in Karachi where Sattar saab is there himself. Rest of the cities like Multan and stuff, its just corrupt.

Edhi has done tremendous charity work but they have certain weaknesses so whilst i encourage people to spend their zakat and sadqat to more reliable organizations it is better to give it to edhi in last resort rather then spending in some other non beneficial venture.
Muzna and TS, if you give your zakat and sadqat to edhi then inshallah i will provide information , other wise just for info it is not good .
I have requested my friends for documentry proofs, let me get hold of them.

i have other things about edhi's organization that do not seem plausible to me.
like some say that he is an indian spy (do i hear laughter?) who was tasked to set up an information gathering network across pakistan, so any pak army troops movement can be reported to folks across the border quickly.
