I have read Imran Hosein’s book on Surah Kahf and he thinks Caucasian race is Gog Magog. There are some other theories as well.
I found Dr. Yasir Qadhi’s analysis of who they will be when they will be released and what they will do, very informative and authentic.

I think if we discuss on this topic step-by-step then believe me, we’ll find it very interesting topic as well easily can understand. 
Well, if the wall still existed then I think it wouldn’t be hard to find/locate it with the help of “google map”, isn’t it How come the most advance technology yet unable to discover it? Everything is on our finger tips with the help of technology but still it is failed to discover that wall. 
Isn’t this give you another thought? 
And No! it is not the great wall of China. Nope.
Please read below hadith which is repeated (with slightly different of wordings) again and again in Sahih Bukhari Book ‘Prophets’ Hadith No. 565, Book ‘Afflictions and the End of the World’ Hadith No. 181 and Hadith No. 249.
**Book ‘Virtues and Merits of the Prophet 
and his Companions’ of Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. ****797. **
**Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh: That the Prophet came to her in a state of fear saying, “None has the right to be worshiped but Allah! Woe to the Arabs because of evil that has come near. Today a hole has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog as large as this.” pointing with two of his fingers making a circle. Zainab said, “I said, 'O Allah’s Apostle ! Shall we be destroyed though amongst us there are pious people? ’ He said, 'Yes, if evil increases.” Narrated Um Salama: The Prophet woke up and said, “Glorified be Allah: What great (how many) treasures have been sent down, and what great (how many ) afflictions have been sent down!”
**The ‘hole’ has been made in the wall during the life-time of our Prophet Muhammad . There should be no doubt to left that that great wall has been demolished and no longer exist. Otherwise, it have been seen/located.
**P.S. **Once we are finished (gone through) with the topic of “wall”, then we’ll proceed further and discuss about the ‘Gog and Magog’.

AsSalaamo Alaikum bro,
The thing is even with the best mapping available to public, there are still areas of the world that have not been fully “scanned”, so the image either gets too blurry when you zoom in, or there just isn’t a clear map available for the area. You always hear the conspiracies about secret sites being hidden because they look smeared/pixelated on the map.

In Holy Qur’an Chapter 18 Verses from 90 to 98, we’ll read '…they asked to built a barrier between them. But he (Dhul-Qurnain) built a “dam”. These words are (سدا) “Dam”, (نقبا) “Dig through”, and (ردما) "“Barrier” along with many other words which also appeared in hadiths i.e., “Barrier”, “Dam”, “hole” and “Wall”.
The point which i’m trying to make here is that our Prophet Muhammad said in hadith “Today” which doesn’t mean in future-tense but at the right moment when He said that a hole has been made. So if they were able to make a hole then there should be no doubt left that the wall, barrier, or dam has been demolished, otherwise what is the purpose of saying “Woe to the Arabs”? Since 9/11 the situation in the Arab states dramatically changed and there are less peace then turmoils. That is a another reason which indicates that the wall, barrier or dam is no longer existed i.e., demolished.
Book ‘Afflictions and the End of the World’ of Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 250 and 249.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “A hole has been opened in the dam of Gog and Magog.” Wuhaib (the sub-narrator) made the number 90 (with his index finger and thumb).
Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh: That one day Allah’s Apostle entered upon her in a state of fear and said, "None has the right to be worshiped but Allah! Woe to the Arabs from the Great evil that has approached (them). Today a hole has been opened in the dam of Gog and Magog like this." The Prophet made a circle with his index finger and thumb. Zainab bint Jahsh added: I said, “O Alllah’s Apostle! Shall we be destroyed though there will be righteous people among us?” The Prophet said, “Yes, if the (number) of evil (persons) increased.”
Book ‘The Book Pertaining to the Turmoil and Portents of the Last Hour (Kitab Al-Fitan wa Ashrat As-Sa`ah)’ of Sahih Muslim hadith No. 6881.
Zainab bint Jahsh reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) got up from sleep saying: There is no god but Allah; there is a destruction in store for Arabia because of turmoil which is at hand, the barrier of Gog and Magog has opened so much. And Sufyan made a sign of ten with the help of his hand (in order to indicate the width of the gap) and I said: Allah’s Messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact that there would be good people amongst us? Thereupon he said: Of course, but only when the evil predominates.

Yes it is a Sahih Hadith from Muslim: Sahih Muslim 2937a - The Book of Tribulations and Portents of the Last Hour - كتاب الفتن وأشراط الساعة - Sunnah.com - Sayings and Teachings of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و سلم)
And it is the correct version. Gog and Magog are yet to be released. It is one the major signs of the Day of Resurrection.
The wall is physical. The Qur’an has told us how the barrier was built and what materials were used, so it is not right to say that it is a metaphorical or imaginary barrier.
In Surah al-Kahf, Allaah has told us the story of the Muslim king and the great leader Dhu’l-Qarnayn (may Allaah have mercy on him):
*“Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them, a people who scarcely understood a word.
They said, ‘O Dhu’l-Qarnayn! Verily! Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?’
He said: ‘That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord has established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier.
Give me pieces (blocks) of iron,’ then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said, ‘Blow,’ till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said, ‘Bring me molten copper to pour over it.’
So they [Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj] were made powerless to scale it or dig through it.
(Dhu’l-Qarnayn) said: ‘This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true.’”
[al-Kahf 18:93-98]
