Relaxation Techniques

I’m trying learn some techniques on how I can reduce stress and relax more. If you have some techniques, please do share.

The best way for me to relax is to take a long hot bath with lavendar oil/powder mixed into the water.

yoga, dancing, exercise and breathing in morning fresh air...any form of meditation like prayer or yoga relaxes.

Alone in a green, green, green and very green pasture...sitting/lying on the grass..staring at the clear blue sky...and ALONE... silence..and only the wind blowing....:) bliss

In a park...with kids playing... sitting on a bench under a tree...during winter time..:D

prayer and reading the quran is the best relaxation. reading a book, long hot baths, yoga, and swimming also helps. you would have to try different things to find what best works for you.

get a good & deep shoulder massage from some desi uncle...

Taking a nice bath/shower.
Reading.
Namaz/Dhikr.

These are my tried and true ways of relaxation, no order to them intended.

-steaming hot showers.
-sitting in a secret spot with a nice soothing drink and people watching...aka desi stare down game.
-at a park, sitting in a swing with ur eyes closed and hearing the children's laughter and innocent voices, while your hair dances in the breeze.
- on the beach, with your feet masked in the sand staring at the deep blue waters. collecting shells on the shores.
-wrapped in your cozy bed with an absorbing reads like sufi works by rumi, or persian epics, mughal histories, a romantic little novela or the holy and powerful words of quran helping you rest your soul for the night.
