Mustanamalik is right. This is going to take some hustle and muscle. One of my distant relatives passed away in NY and had a house in Islamabad. Some fraudster working in the CDA found out and transferred his plot into his name through illegal means. The brother of the deceased, one of my uncles, came to know and was residing in Karachi. He contacted my dad and they had two options, go to court (that would have taken a lifetime) or get it done through some property dealer by giving him some moolah. Needless to say, the property dealer took care of everything.
