I was looking at my post from when this thread was opened.

I work with some Hindu people now and its been a learning experience for me.

Most of these people don’t consider Indian Muslims…Indian. They call them Pakistani as well.

I have been put in many awkward situations where I’ve actually had people ask me…are you Pakistani? Because we only want to pay a Hindu or the other way around.

I have to remind them that we don’t think that way here in America. We’re all desies here and if you can’t get with that…you are in the wrong place.

sounds more like an anomaly… I’ve worked with many Indians including Hindus and Muslims and never experienced this.
