Relationship going downhill..

Then again...maybe something to do with "out-of-household" affairs! :p

Re: Relationship going downhill..

communication,
understanding, and
respect

Re: Relationship going downhill..

Desis:

  1. In-Law Meddling (classic MIL syndrome)
  2. Financial (Loss of job --> wife dips)
  3. Religion (one spouse delving into religion more or less than what other spouse was used to)

Non-Desis:

  1. Financial (loss of job --> wife or husband dips)
  2. Loss of Interest in Marriage/Cheating (milk man syndrome, desperate housewives syndrome, sexy secretary syndrome)
  3. Careers (I have to move to Manhattan for my job, and you don't want to move with me, its always about you isn't it?)

IMHO. Who the hell knows. I am not a statistics machine.

Re: Relationship going downhill..

Lack of communication & trust.

All relationships are meant to go downhill one day. Reason is simple. No one changes for anyone. Its all about how to maintain it and deal with the reality.

Re: Relationship going downhill..

That's not true. Some relationships grow with time.

Re: Relationship going downhill..

Among many others, that have already been listed, failing/not willing to compromise and lack of patience.

Re: Relationship going downhill..

  1. parathas go from round to weird polygons
  2. husband walks like 30 ft ahead of the wife
  3. awkward silence during car rides

bad, bad signs.

  1. Too much of the girl’s mother involvement.

  2. The mother in law n bahu both wanting more imp than each other in the guy’s life.

  3. The groom n the bride overdo it in the begining days of their marriage and even at their courtship time…tolerating everything from each other, doing things out of the way for each other n etc and when they get to real life lol it all fades out cuz then its time for reality check. So please utna bardashat karo jitna u can tolerate later too.
