How many of you agree with this study? Does a relationship break-up really affect a man more than a woman?

Re: Relationship break-ups 'hit men hardest'

I don't think so. Or it may have been the fact that none of my friends have been in a serious relationship, just "time-pass", so they weren't bothered. I don't run after girls just for the heck of it (why do it until you actually love someone?) so I wouldn't know personally.

Re: Relationship break-ups 'hit men hardest'

men keep it more inside which made lead him to have a more difficult time dealing with it. Women get really close to their friends and open up about it and have a bigger support system to help her through it.

Re: Relationship break-ups ‘hit men hardest’

No I don’t think so. Didn’t take me more than a few days to get over my ex.
I believe it hits dumpee harder than it hits the dumper.

I think it hurts if you truly loved the person and spent enough time and care for each other.
knowing that your relationship will never be the same always hurts.
wether you were the person who broke it off or if your former partner was.
