Interesting discussion related to having sex with a slave (without marriage) caught during jihad. Now it makes sense if Syrian (and other jihadis) give fatwas for the same for their opponents.

What I understood from this verse that Almighty Allah commanded us that if we fear that we'll not be able to do justify between our wives then we should marry only one or satisfy our self with female captive. Why? that is because like this we will save ourself from doing injustice. Injustice to whom? One who married to more then a wife and is not able to treat them equally.
So relation with slave girl is in condition that if we are not able to do justify between our wives, then only and if we desire more then a women. Otherwise the verse doesn't allow openly to have relation with slave girls.

marriage with slave girls is one thing, but having relations with one out of wedlock is another. It's strange for me that some ulemas are actually justifying sex out of marriage. The same thing some people are using as justification these days during 'jehads' taking place the world over.

Do you think the same conditions can be fulfilled today? Slaves existed at the time of islams advent, no qualms about that. Having sex with them out of marriage I am not sure. Can current jehadis use previous acts as a reference to carry out the acts now?

Slave girls were very common in Pre-Islam Arab and in some cases they were made to do prostitution by their Masters. There are verses in Quran prohibiting this issue. Quran was revealed gradually and certain sharia rules were imposed in stages like period of iddat of a lady was not 4 months at first. There is a verse in Quran which talks of one year's iddat (need to check).

Waste of time to discuss this issue, only result would be that as people will end up going away from the deen because they are commenting on some thing that is non existent today in masses.
Slaves issue is directly related with ahkam ul jihad. and the acceptability should be discussed after we have some khalifa>who wages iqdami jihad> and then we capture kufars.

Those who raise these issues normaly have islam non existent in their own lives. They dont pray or avoid gunahs but worry about how to pray in space as there will be no qibla.

It is quite clear that having relations with slaves is irrelevant since having slaves in most countries is forbidden. Slaves were allocated after the battles were over and when the spoils were allocated by the leader. The dictates that should be followed regarding war situations should be that no child, woman or animal be harmed, no trees cut down and no houses destroyed. This is the ruling for a war situation ... The taking of slaves was never up to the individual to decide.

Brother in addition to what brother psyah said about the genuiness of this “fatwa” can you show me evidences of where taliban/harkatul shabab and so on jihadi outfits who had some success in recent past used this slavery?
Rather then creating a preconcieved notion to find loopholes in some thing(read jihad) and then creating stories(searching for fake/true stories/exception cases) to support your point, try doing some thing practical.
Lets start with how to improve our selves/how to implement deen in our every day transactions / how to improve our ikhlaq this ramadan.
