Obviously I do, because that´s the first thing you get to see of that person. However later on, when you get to know people (by there posts or even by meeting them in person) that picture changes sometimes.

Umer bhai both of your answers have a slight contradiction :) if it does not mean anything then how can you build your perception just by viewing it before getting to know them really?

I don´t see any contradiction, because question number 3 and 4 are independant from each other.
In q. no. 3 you ask, whether the way a certain nick is written (caps, no-caps, etc.) tells something about the personality. To which I replied with No.
In q. no. 4 however you ask whether the nick itself and the avatar tells you something. And that has been answered with a clear Yes.
Example:
Whether a Guppie´s nick is Crazy Guppie or #^~cRaZy GuPpIe~^# does not make any difference. (Question 3)
But the fact that the name "crazy guppie" is chosen gives me a slight idea about the person. (Question 4)

oh yes. you are right. Acctually i think besides the whole name even the style of your nick also speaks a little bit of your personality and wanted to know if others feel the same way. :)
