I watch music videos that I can't see in front of the kids :D I actually mull around - read a magazine, fix my closet or just take a long bath
Re: Relaaaaaaaax

:I am having second thoughts now:
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
Sleep.
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
i mostly organize and clean. that is my hobby. especially organizing.. find it relaxing.. i cant empty closets with midget walking around... so when his dad takes him off of my hands... thats the number one thing i do... im not sleep deprived anymore cuz he mashallah naps and sleeps well at night, but when he was an infant, thats the number one thing i woudl do.. sleep. empty the closets to organize, leave them half way and sleep :D
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
I will maybe clean up around the house too...and then take a shower which actually will last more than 5 mins...:(

this made me laugh outloud :D
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
seems strange but you have no idea how even littlest things need to be planned out with a baby like going to the bathroom ![]()
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
Ditto! Never knew taking showers would be such a challenge ![]()
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
I play video games ![]()
With babies, yes… you’d be lucky to get a 5 minute shower.
With older kids, its not too bad… my 4.5 years old is fine with me taking 15-20 minutes shower/bath, anything longer than that and she will be knocking persistently… “MAMAAAAA, what are you doing in there” :hinna:
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
lol@mama what are you doing in there :D
hats off to all mothers.. I dun feel prepared but I am dying to have a baby.. I wonder if it will all come naturally :-(
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
I swear, sometimes I wanna ask her “What do you think I’m doing in there, dancing?” but she won’t get it… too young ![]()
Don’t worry, you will get used to it once you have a baby… and its ALL TOTALLY worth it, no matter how much we rant about sleepless nights ![]()
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
I go shopping!! clean the house or sleep :)
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
lay in bed and watch tv
Re: Relaaaaaaaax
I rarely have time to myself but a couple of days ago hubs took little Miss out to recieve grandma at the amtrak station. I had 1 whole hour of (almost) uninterrupted tv watching and by the end of it, i felt pretty relaxed and energized. Ofcourse i got a call in between where i was told little missy is being fretful and i had to sing poems over bluetooth to calm her down.
Other ways that i relax is by reading a book, or a magazine since the little one isnt snatching it away constantly.
