ermmmmm I’ve just checked out your FB page and i have got a query. You;ve got picture of a dress which you are charging $275 for and i have had a quote from the original designer for a whole lot less! I know the perception in Pakistan is that the purdesis in UK and USA are rolling in it but come on seriously…

but i have tagged all the prices with shipping charges. and then my work for this dress has a slight difference. i have added work on back daman. its a heavy work all over.... and the fabric is pure chiffon. it will b prepared by a designer also. soooo it deserves. however prices can be discussed.....

you can compare my prices for other dresses. its much more cheaper than others.... if there is more price then its becauz of difference in work and fabric.

That is not the point, you should put up the pictures of your own work/design, making slight changes doesn't make it yours, it is misleading and not fair to the original designer, please take this into consideration and use your imagination to create something beautiful than you can be proud of too :)

Dear pink what do u think all the designers r doing on fb. all have almost same designs. the art is how the work comes out..... im working on my own designs too but here i just responded to brummie's query...

This is exactly wat I had said earlier as well.. I had put a note in the DO NOT Shop HERE section..

I came accross some1 by the name Ayesha Sattar and her group is Design Affairs!!
Major Ripp Off...

I put a note on a dress she had put and a link to the dress on Robe De Style's page...
Designer Affair was selling it for 275& while Robe De Style for 175$
wow!! the difference is tremendous!!

Plus she deleted me off her list so that I do not obviously inform her customers where they can find better rates!!
and plus blocked me from adding her group!!! apparently the dress or design was from some karighar shop in Lahore where both these ladies
mite shopping.. not even copying a designer wear or anything.. same cloth, same work.. just different profit margins!!!

I am putting this up so that everyone is carefull before purchasing!!! I dunno why
but I feel these designers in Pakistan feel that people abroad have money GROWing from trees :(

Its wrong rejoice, and not everone is doing it on facebook, as ive got my own facebook page aswell but i have not used other peoples pictures, only for the GA colleection i have as its orignal gul ahmed prints, i wont be editing them, the rest are all pictures taking by myself. there should be no misleading and everything should always be upfront n open

Agree, not everyone is doing it on facebook, i also take my own pics, even when i wanted to copy some designer cloths, i had them made
a sample of each piece and than took my own pics to put on my website and facebook page. It makes a big difference, and in fact, to be honest, you can't make an exact copy of any outfit, there are always differences. Even if minor.
