Re: Rejection

Murgi doesn't count as a woman. After all she is a chicken. Animals are not humans. :D

Re: Rejection

^^

fascist :disgust:

Re: Rejection

Plus you should know by now Shak all women are liars. Murgi is no exception.

Re: Rejection

i know.i was thinking something similar and it was sad.

Re: Rejection

That is not true. People do look for other attributes and education, family rep and other factors are also important, in fact more important than looks. I would any day pick an educated girl from shareef family for my brother than a pretty girl with bad reputation.

Re: Rejection

TLK, TLK, TLK. You need to read all of my posts first :snooty:

Re: Rejection

Thank goodness I didn't have to go through any of this stuff. My sis filtered out all the guys for me. I'd suddenly fall ill when some strange dude came to "see" me with his mommy and daddy if my sis got negative vibes :D

Re: Rejection

I was rejected because of my looks.

It definitely wasn't because I didnt' shut up about womens rights and western Muslims, and didnt stop checking out the dude.

Right.

Re: Rejection

All I’m saying, is that desi girls need to build up a bit more self esteem. And they have every reason to not get depressed if for whatever reason they are overlooked for someone else. At least they aren’t Roma from Bulgaria:

Hundreds Roma from the southern parts of Bulgaria gathered in the village of Mogila near Stara Zagora, to celebrate the Day of St Todor, or Horse Easter. At this traditional gathering, taking place on the first Saturday after the start of the orthodox Easter fast, the Roma families expose their teenage daughters with the intention to find a husband for them who is willing to pay a large amount of money for his future wife. At this bride market the price of a beautiful young woman is said to be several thousands levs/euros.

Imagine how these girls might be feeling. They are openly being put up as livestock to be bought…not even a jahez issue. But these girls are there, primping away. Meh…what do I know

Re: Rejection

That’s definitely messed up…but desis pay to get RID of their daughters (i.e. jahez, i..e, “a thank you gift for choosing OUR daughter”)

Re: Rejection

:hehe:

Re: Rejection

its all the 'princess syndrome' that is causing this.....

Re: Rejection

Re: Rejection

Re: Rejection

Re: Rejection

I miss the good old days when you could just go out and buy a wife, or swap one for a camel or a horse.

Well, to be fair you can't judge a person's character in a random desi chai parade. So yeah, as long as it prevails looks it is. And like TLK said, education, family repute and background and all. For a bloke, on the other hand, the lady's family already knows how educated he is, how much he is earning, what his lifestyle is and such. Personally, I like gora system better. If you get along, you start to date, and if you still get along, you move in together, and if you continue to get along you get married. If you don't, you part ways. Makes more sense.

Re: Rejection

If you live in the US you have heard of a JAP and met a few. Well I introduce you to the DAP. Or particularly...the PAP.
