Oh yeah, sure. Your values/philosophical orientation include political beliefs, so I could totally see that being problematic if you're on opposite ends of the political spectrum. Those who don't consider it an issue are probably apathetic or not very opinionated about the same.
I know of a high profile Democrat-Republican couple married for a long time; I've always wondered how they make it work ...

Yes, I would reject someone who was v.right-wing as some of their beliefs really disgust me (and likewise they'd prob think the same about a liberal)..

The one who mostly has political beliefs they are mostly useless. Its better to marry some one who is himself or herself in politics or has strong political links. Dont marry some dumb arse who has political beliefs

There is difference between sympethatic and diehard (hardcore) supporter.I would certainly reject (for my Childers) extreme right winger as well MQM hardcore.

Political differences don't matter in a marriage. A husband and a wife belonging to opposing political parties can't have different lifestyles based on their political views. It will have no effect on how they eat, sleep or make love (not sure about MQM-PPP kinds :D).
