My khalaa studied it and teaches it also. It's for healing yourself through your hands. You put your hands on an area which has a bruise or it hurts you and you say this will get better and you do this to another person, then the other person will feel this heat radiating from inside their body supposedly healing them and it's somehow connected to your hands. Somehow, it heals them. She tried it on me. Personally, I don't like it. It feels unnatural but she says it's mentioned in some hadith or some sayings and it's good for you. It's also very touch-feely and ticklish. When you place your hands on some part, you say 3 things. That you want the energy to flow from your hands to the bruise, to pray for the recovery of the person, and then healing.

I think that raiki is a technique which parents and teachers use often to their children, students to remove dimagi bemarian and susti. and not just hands re used but danda, joota are also used for reiki purposes by parents, teachers elder brothers. hehehe
