Home Secretary John Reid has been heckled during a speech about targeting potential Muslim extremists.
He was interrupted by activist Abu Izzadeen, who said he was “furious” about “state terrorism by British police”.
In his speech, Mr Reid asked Muslim parents to keep a close eye on their children and act if they suspected they were being radicalised by extremists.
It was his first speech to a Muslim audience since becoming home secretary.
]The protester, also known as Omar Brookes, denies being a member of the banned Abu Ghurabaa group.
He accused the minister of being an “enemy” of Islam before he was led from the building by police and stewards.
A second heckler was ejected a few minutes later after he also interrupted the speech.
What right does Mr. Reid to tell muslim parents to polish up their parentings or even grass up on them to a terrorist gov? what blatant racism. Perhaps he should first consider polishing up his gov. antics instead…?

Yes merc it is called freedom of speech,so why was he ejected from the hall. Reid didn't like what he heard? Should he not have told his boss that before asking muslims to keep an eye on their children he should put his own house in order. Giving Israel the green light to kill muslims in Lebanon is hardly a way to be in the good books of muslims. Perhaps Reid should keep an eye on Bush's poodle before giving lecture to others.
Isnt rising extremism a cause of concern for everybody. I would not want my children to blow themselves up whatever be the reason. I would definitely would like to keep an eye on my children so that they dont fall into the kind of company where people are encouraged to blow themselves up.
The parrotting regarding root causes is getting boring and is besides the point. If you live in a country you are supposed to follow the laws of the country.If you are not happy with the laws of the country, then go to a country where you can follow your own rules...

When someone is making a speech, you don't stand up and start interrupting him or her. Speeches are made for people to listen, its not a conversation. And the suicide bombers made videos of their intentions to blow themslves up. According to you, are all suicide bombers Western agents?
In this day and age, modern technology renders it easy to recreate an image of an individual to make a fake video. I can put your face on someone elses body and it would look as if its you.
This was first done by the cia when they released the first video of BinLaden admitting to the attaks of 911. Unwittingly we all accepted this ignoring the fact that BinLaden had in the first place denied any involvment. It took analysts in the US to highlight that this was in fact a fake.
How do we know it was fake?
Bin laden is left handed but on the tape he is seen making gestures with his right hand. He is also seen with a gold watch and gold ring. His cheeks are chubby and his smile is nothing like that of BinLaden. His nose is differant.

Besides, heckling is good for democracy, Reid should have answered the questions and then made his point against the heckler. However Reid knew that should he answer the questions truthfully, he would incriminate himself so he naturally got impatient and ejected the dissent. That is not the sign of a healthy democracy but rather a sophisticated dictatarship...
This is exactly what happens when you have unqualified people immigrating to the West.
Controlled immigration such as in Canada or USA has resulted in very few muslims being radicalized where as uncontrolled immigration in Europe has resulted in poor, uneducated people moving to very liberal societies in the West and then they clash with its cultures and some turn to extremism and then they complain when police eye them suspicion....
The British Government needs to deport these people and fast....

And technology si not perfect, even in multi-million dollar hollywood movies, you can still tell if soemthing is fake if you pay close attention. There are many tell-tale signs of computer manipulation, especially when it comes to recreating proper lighting eonditions. Creating an entire fake video while using a transplanted face that moves realistically is still beyond our abilities. The family of the dead suicide bombers have not disputed the videos, and they would be the first to tell if something didn't seem right.

Many other British Pakistanis arent involved in criminal .There are some, personally I think they make the headlines more easily. But it's doubtful even criminal statistics of British Pakistanis will show that the crime problem is much worse for British Pakistanis. Probably somewhere in the middle of the ethnic groups, but that's based on the fact that a lot more of the British Pakistani community is newer, less established, and a greater amount live in poorer conditions (partly due to silly Biraderi systems of bringing whole families over).
