**Rehte The Pastiyon Mein, Magar Khud Pasand Thy,
Hum Log Is Lihaaz Se Kitne Buland Thy,

Akhir ko so gai khuli galiyon mein chandni,
Kal shab tamam shehar ke darwazay bund thy.

Guzray tou hanstay shehar ko namnak kar gae,
Jhonkay hawa-e-shab ke bary dardmand thy.

Woh aik tu, ke hum ko mitta ker tha mutmain,
Woh aik hum ke phir bhi harees-e-guzand thy.

Mohsin riyaa k nam pe sathi thy beshumar,
Jin mein tha kuch khalos woh dushman bhi chand thy.**
