Did anyone see her next to Shah Rukh Khan in the awards? Shes quite a character, first she started announcing before the other annoncer was done. Then she started praising Indian films, without talking about the film industry in Pakistan. But the she got a nice applause from the Indian crowd, even though it was in Dubai. Shabana Uzmi also mentioned her name.
Omar Sharif did a nice comedy act. He made fun of pathans first, then sardar's. Got the crowd laughing their heads off, and then an hour later, him and Sheker Suman did an act together.

but you know she was still better then Reema, she got nervous and couldn’t say a word. I was somehow glad that Resham chose to speak in urdu. Umer Sharif was really appreciated..i think he also criticized Gandhi in one of his joke.. i'm not sure though. :D
Yeah! she was far from being nervous! Wesay I must say, the Indian crowd adored her, itna applause tu apni actresses ko nahee detey hon gey! Go Reshma!
And a special applause should goto Shahrukh Khan for introducing her in such a nice way! He praised all the Pakistani actresses and their work! He also talked about the love between the two countries!
actually, I think many people in the audience were Pakistanis.
How do you know? Not that im doubting you. If they were, im surprised she got an ovation from Pakistanis

I don't find making fun of pathans and then sikhs very funny. he should have made fun of urdu adn hindi speaking people and the people in da crowd.

Shahrukh khan’s performace was wornderfull, he is a crowd charmer. Asked girls from audience to dance with him and he was fantastic.
One thing i noticed that due to his chain smoking he gets out of breath in short time. He needs to cut down his smoking 
Reema looked nice -- made it brief on stage as well.
Resham needed help (esp with the farmaiishi program for SK to sing--altho it was part of the act--still needed help.)
Missed Javed Sheikh's appearance.
Omar Sharif was lame. I mean, he went on agreeing with everything the indian guy said about paki film industry (which was all quite degrading)..the attempt to make jokes in such a big crowd was also a no-no.
and let's not forget the final award -- i mean..KOI MIL GYAA???? heyll no....i was expecting to see Sunjay Dutt!!
well code red to u they might be funny but to me any joke against pathans is racism

Zee Cine Awards - An enthusing initiative
Just happened to catch part of the Zee Cine awards this weekend on TV. This was a first that I got to see bollywood and lollywood together in a few stints. There was a momentous India Pakistan friendship message throughout the part that I watched.
From India:
Dharmendra was ever so humble in his good wishes to the countries!
Javed Akhtar’s used his prosaic speech to encourage love among the people.
From Pakistan:
Omar Sharif restrained from his cheap comedy and actually articulated cheering thoughts for India Pakistan friendship.
Also Javed Sheikh’s Dosti Zindabad expressively hit home.
Everything was kewl until the awkward moment with Resham on stage:
1- When Resham abruptly announced the award for best supporting actor without letting the main announcers pronounce Shahrukh’s presence on stage with Resham :-) that would’ve been embarrassing.
2- She was cutting amid Shahrukh’s talk!

Reema looked gorgeous as usual
Resham was good
Javed Sheikh was ok but his ‘Pakistan India dosti zindabad’ at the end of his speech gave me a diabetes attack
Umar Shareef was funny, but i dont like the guy, and some of his jokes were just DUMBBBBBBBB like the one about hoors and chaar shaadiaan…i mean dont make fun of your own religion!!!
Resham and Reema looked good.. Resham should have talked a little about Pakistan too...she was buttering the Indian audience...and the way she didnt wait for Shilpa to say the complete sentence was kinda embarrassing... I think it's the time our film industry learns how to talk in English....

Umar Sharif started off absolutely hilarious but went overboard. He overdoes his silly make-up jokes to the point that u can’t laugh even if you wanted to. Should cut down a bit on that.
Reema aunty looked intimidated. Didn’t utter a single word and was standing on stage like she is especially posing for darned pictures…very fake. It’s a good thing she never spoke, all that comes out of her mouth is…ouver junior actresses do not respect the senior actresses..abbay what do u want them to call you daadi jaan or something. Or then she would have gone on about her baby pink skin and no need of makeup 
Javed Sheikh uncle the sucker bohot maskaa lagaa rahay thay. Lagta hei next shaadi bollywood mein karna chah rahay hein.
Shahrukh and Gauri looked great She is just so complacent, relaxed and laid back or atleast she looks it. They go well together.
