Rehman Malik ( i guess husband of Sherry Rehman ) the advisor of Interrior Ministry or Internal affairs ( i exactly don’t know to whom he advice) is getting quite “attention” of the media, i don’t know about the others but this the way i have felt… I haven’t seen many of advisors taking lead role in decision making. I wonder who is the interior minister of Pakistan and what is he doing.

he came to spot light when Geo English's proposal was rejected on "security" grounds. Apparently he claims that all security agencies including ISI report him DIRECTLY. God knows the truth about it.

Actually it falls under Ministery of Communication and Information, and Sherry Rehman should be dealing with these issues. He is not even an elected MNA, for crying out loud. Apparently the ADVISER has more control over these issues than Communications Minister. IMO, since there is no appointed INTERIOR minister, PM himself should take charge of this ministery OR choose one of the ministers from cabenit for the time being.

Yup when it comes to issuing license it is MOCI, but when it comes to the security issues and reasons it should be from MOD or MOI... I think he is the one who will be "SAIF UR REHMAN" for PPP...

^^ i don't know that, but may it be Mushahid Hussain, or Saif ur Rehman or Today's Rehman Malik, these people are there to spoil good will of the party.
I think he was the one who ordered the blockage by containers in Islamabad during the long March, later that day i heard Geo saying that the containers are being removed on direct orders of Asif Ali Zardari.
Whoever he is, 1st he should know his limits secondly the party should take action against him before his actions/orders spoil the remaining good will of the party.

we can give him a slack there, since it could be for security reasons, suicide bomb attacks that is; BUT if there was some other agenda then it's definitely against what party says in PUBLIC.

Rehman Malik's credentials include human trafficking. He is believed to board people on PIA for Europe and Americas when he was director of FIA, in exchange of hefty amount of money.
He was also security officer for Benazir's security. The goon who could not know anything about the security of Bhutto has been appointed as adviser to puppet PM Gilani on Interior Affairs and Narcotics Control.
He was also the deal broker between Benazir and Musharaf that resulted in NRO.
The guy seems to be as corrupt as Zardari is. Only God can save us from these crooks who are looting our beloved country.

He is also the one who pinned the blame for the delaying of the by elections on the ANP, whereas he did it himself, and then kept aloof from the press for days once the ANP gave a clarification. He is basically the liason b/w the Aiwaan-e-Sadr and Zardari. There are many in the PPP who oppose him.
Why didn't he contest the election or contests bye election so that he becomes the official home minister.

Taseer's role is to balance out the PML[N] Govt in Punjab, he is quite good at that. Him and the league leadership have a very romantic past. Honestly, it was a smart move by Zardari, for the PPP
