I have read, and think it must be true, that on one's deathbed, the things one regrets are not the things one has done, but the things one did not do.

I haven't read all the posts so sorry if I am repeating myself!
I have found the best way to get over pangs of regret is to make a list of how those mistakes improved me as a person or taught me something about life, and immeadiately my feelings of regret subside.
Sometimes we need to have regrets to learn and grow.

My life is full of regrets...... I have done lots of mistakes in my life..... actually i have messed up my life. If i could turn back time... i would change my educational life and some other things as well. I regret because i believe that Allah gives us opportunities in life and we have to avail them which i didn't or sometimes couldn't and i regret all those decisions.
How i cope with them?? I don't know when ever i think about those decisions..... some times i cry on those things... sometimes i pray to Allah that please give me another chance.. and sometimes i just let it go and learn lessons from those mistakes.
