A lot of people tend to wear white, but it’s not really my colour and i’ve been put off it by too many girls choosing that colour. I’d pick something like a nice navy or rich purple myself cos it makes my skin look all glowy 
My sis in law wore a really pretty mint green outfit for her registry which I thought was nice, plus it was a nice summery day so that helped too:

Mad Hatter, that mint outfit is so pretty! Pastel colours are a nice alternative to whites and ivories imo and lovely for Summer :)
Also, I think pure white can be quite a hard colour to pull off..

Yeah its a really nice outfit, she got it made from a boutique in Windsor (in UK) in a long jacket style with a raw silk kameez underneath...I'd post a full pic but i dont think SIL would be too happy about it. I think pure white looks nice if it looks sparkly or has a bit of gold with it, but to be honest, it's become a bit of typical colour for some people to wear white on their registry (or nikkah if they do that seperately). I've even seen girls do the white english wedding dress shebang, which does look nice but it's not something i'd do myself
