I need to download a good registry cleaner, but I don’t know which one is good cause there are so many out there.
Any suggestions?

i use the registry theme called avoid laying unnecessary crap on your system to begin with. it's truly da best.

Someone actually used my computer yesterday and went into msconfig ... I have no idea what he did, but the computer has been acting up since then. I keep getting messages saying there is something wrong with the registry now. Oh well.

well, what did that person change in msconfig?
its mosly only startup items, run it again to see which items are 'unticked' ?

Can't you just use Restore wizard to see if it brings backs the setting?

I keep getting this popup window from my old internet server that shows up every time I start the computer. He was trying to get rid of that. It apparently shows up in the registry, but the popup window is still showing up despite him unticking it. Anyway, now the whole computer is just acting up.

Just do a system restore from before the meddler got on ur PC. Allah shifa day ga!

if you are worried about your data... then don't be... system restore will only restore system files and registry entries ... Your data files will remain unchanged ...

Yep, system restore is the greatest invention since sliced bread. Its like it takes you back in time a few days when the computer was all fine and dandy.
