at the time of renewal, a new personalized plate can also be ordered and paid for.

But will I pay two fees. One for Renewal and one for new plates?

I personally dont think that you have to wait till tab renewal time to get a vanity plate. you can have your plate change anytime by giving appropriate fee.

I understand that. I just wasn’t sure if I’m paying for registration+personalized plates, or just one fee.
