As per ‘Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961’ of Pakistan, a married man should obtain ‘no objection’ or ‘permission letter’ from the Chairman of Arbitration Council’. who would like marry another woman.
I hav seen some pakis marriage abroad but do the conern dept ask such no objection or permission letter or atleast verfiy that whether he’s married or not?

Yes, before registration both gender of opposite sex submit their marital status with proof then local county registrar issues marriage license to them for certain period lets say for one month, if they married within that period and submit signed license to county they will be considered as legally married.

I believe it is followed strictly in US.

There is a column in Marriage certificate which oftenly not filled in properly even it is presented by a polygamist.

Lethal Bhai: As long as both are hold single or divorce status, marriage license will issue other than that if they try to fraud with authorities they may get consequences. I am not sure what is legit fine of doing this.
