GS Audio has a nice feature which does not let a user download an entire audio clip, truncation. But there are occasions when some pirates put up unreleased songs, which is the worst form of piracy. I contacted the moderator, didnt get a response yet. What is the policy in such situations? Uploading unreleased songs (even if they are readily available for download everywhere) is an immoral act, and should not be allowed by GS, especially if its Pakistani artists we are talking about. I would be waiting to hear you views on this.
If one heeds to your argument; listening to these songs would be just as bad, then. After all, they haven't been released yet. Whether, they are being played on X site or Y is not the point. The song cannot be downloaded from Gupshup. So, i don't think there's anything wrong. Plus, the artist is getting free publicity..which he may need for the new album

I asked for the administrator's view on this. (5abi, has assured me he will find out). But since you have presented them anyways, its not hard to download the song form the GS gallery, it can even be done with sound recorder. But that is not what I am saying. Had it been done after the song was officially released, I wouldnt have raised objections.
How would uploading full songs for the artist before they are even released, help him seek publicity, especially when he never asked for free publicity? Take some artist with a big recording company label on his back like a famous western band, if their unreleased work in uploaded like this, they come down hard on the site. Lets not make AG a pirate's hub, tahts all I am saying. Also, what if the artist personally requests a person to take of the songs?
