I have not been able to get in touch with anyone at the New york or LA consulate and I have the following questions if someone knows the answers.
I have my CNIC with my father’s name and intend to apply for NICOP along with Machine readable passport with my husband’s name. Do I need to have my NICOP with my husband’s name before I can get the MRP ? Can I apply for both at the same time
My husband does not have a CNIC but a regular NIC. The website says that CNIC/NICOP is a requirement for MRP so can he apply for the NICOP and MRP at the same time ?
Since we will need to fly out, I want to be sure we would be able to apply for MRP and not waste our trip.

As far as I know you can't get any further documentation, if you don't have a CNIC. I'm not sure whether your husband's NIC is still valid.
