any one had a experiance with double door refrigerator (specially samsung)
ppl say that single door is more reliable then the double doors
double gets out of order soon and also cuz prob with its parts
???

Have not used samsung double door...........only GE and Kennmore.....however the advantage of double door over single door is............

in a single door every time you open the door all that cold air drops/pours out of the frig..............:(

with separate door for freezer..............freezer door is not opened that often.......frozen stuff should stays colder and frig uses less electricity.....:biggthumb

I think she meant the fridge where the fridge section has two doors. I think most refrigerator units have freezer door seperate now anyways.

i have one of em french door ones, no issues with it. the ppl who are telling you stuff, do they work for consumer reports? if not... read up consumer reports, Some of their top ranked refrigerators are the french door ones.

Its simple, in a design if you replace one mechanical part with two, you increase the probability of failure. Just go for the single door unit.

we have a sumsung Refrigerator, and lucky for us we had insurance, coz it messed up 3 times. i dont think i would buy Samsung agian:S

That is what I thought you asked.............In my Opinion go for the two door model......one that has separate door for the freezer.........

But GE is best for refrigerators....I can not recommend what I have not used!

I always had a single door fridge meaning the freezer on top and fridge on teh bottom, and now I have a side by side fridge that is one side is fridge and the other is freezer (I think that's what you mean by double door), but i don't like this style at all as both parts fridge as wella s freezer become narrower and esp for parties etc its hatd to store pots and pans.

We have a double door refrigerator at my mom's place...I personally like the ones that u are going for...it gives u m ore space...with the other kind...the freezer compartment is quite narrow,IMO...

I think LG is good for these products...but do some research...read some reviews and there are websites like www.which.co.uk....they can be helpful with choosing a brand...

We have been using GE profile double door for more than two years , do not see any problems. Cooling space is never enough no matter what kind you buy , so we have bought another freezer which we keep in the garage.
