....Refreshing Problem...

Everytime I reply to a thread, it should automatically refresh all the replies and when I go back to the forum, it should have that thread (where I replied) on the top with my name under “Last post by”. Unfortunately, my stupid computer doesn’t do that!

I have to manually go back to the forum and press F5 (or refresh) and THEN it brings the thread up to the top with my name under the “last post by”. I have cleared cookies, TIF, cleared history but nothing seems to solve it. I am sure it’s a technical issue but I can’t seem to solve it. If you know how to solve it, please help.

Current version of IE.

Re: ....Refreshing Problem...

^^ actually.. it should be 'automatic' ..

USUALLY automatic works..

'every' will slow internet experience down..

Re: ....Refreshing Problem...

Thanks for replies people.

Nomaan I used to use firefox but for some program, I had to had IE and I am a lazy person. I hated switching back and forth.

Umar bhai Thanks a lot. It seems that it did solve the problem. Faizy, For some odd reason, my settings were set to "Never". I've changed it and tested it by replying to faizy's thread in cafe for gizzy and it works. Thanks again :)

Re: ....Refreshing Problem...

then leave it for automatic.. ..the ALWAYS setting generates too much of un-necessary traffic and checks..

Re: ....Refreshing Problem...

faizy's right - automatic should work in most cases...

I just happen to have it on every time cuz I work with time critical applications on the intranet which has its own proxy server.

Re: ....Refreshing Problem...

So which one is better? Auto or Everytime?

Re: ....Refreshing Problem...

Manual gear is better shikra, u get more higher end torque

Re: ....Refreshing Problem...

This problem wasn't that refreshing as I wanted it to be on this drab Tuesday afternoon!!

Re: …Refreshing Problem…

Stick to Auto unless and until you’re really sure you wanna switch to Everytime. Like Faizy daid it does slow down your internet experience but I use it because I deal with production critical documents that get changed very freequently.

Mal1k dude - TipTronic is da way to do for someone who isn’t sure
