When someone new registers, they are asked a question which is optional to answer. Who referred you to this site? They can write that member's name if someone told them about gupshup. So if 5 of your friends register and they fill out your name in the referral box while registering, you'll have 5 referrals.

Abhi koi faaeda nahi, future mein if GS becomes a paid service, shayad commission miley :p Everytime you recruite someone, you get 10% of their monthly fee every month. You never know.
