In this thread I will write a list of topics that are mentioned in the Qur’an and we all together have to contribute to let each other know where exactly in the Qur’an Allah has mentioned (about) the topic. We will do this by provinding refrence to the verses of the Qur’an in which Allah talks about the topics. You can provide as many verses as you find for each topic.
I am starting this thread as it will help me and you all understand and obey Allah’s words and commands. I am sure it happens with all of us that when we discuss some aspect of Islam, for example about the fasting in the month of Ramadan, we question ourselves “What does Allah say about it in the Qur’an and what exactly is He commanding us?”. So the purpose of this thread is to provide quick reference to the verses of the Qur’an on various topics (aspects of our deen).
List of topics is as follows:
Allah’s Attributes Following Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) Parents Salah Halaal and Haraam Foods Alcohol Covering for Women/Purdah Marriage Relationship of Husband and Wife Purification/Cleanliness Fasting/Ramadan Hajj
Please do not discuss the verses of the Qur’an in this thread. Only provide references to the verses.

Here is the list of those verses that sheds light on this subject. There may be some verses that I missed out but still I tried to make a complete list as much as possible. Moreover, I am following the same numbering convention that you guys are using just for ease of users (did not counted bismillah as part of the surahs)

I am posting these indexes. didn’t have time to write it manually. Pls note that in the following pages, you should minus one to convert to your numbering system (other than Surah Taubah(9). e.g., if the verse here is 27:75. you should minus one and get 27:74 according to your numbering system to avoid any confusion. Surah 9 is an exception. no changes needed.
