Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

…Dont forget second time is always a better one

kher is there anyone else who can feel the similarities between the both? or am i the only one.

@ 24 and afterwards sec of **this **clip and the start infact the entire of this (it is just that it is more transverse and more beats and rhythm)

so did A R rehman copied reema khan’s movie song? or did they both copied some korean song? :frowning:

Re: Reema’s “Koi Tujh Sa Kahan” and AR Rehman’s Jai ho

:hmmm:

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

At what point in the reema clip?

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

after 24 sec which is the main promotional track of her movie.

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

Not really.

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

Zobia, I wouldn't be surprised if that were true.

One of Rahman's films called "Yuvraaj" had its theme music ripped from "yeh Ankhein Jadu Bhari" from Koi Tujh Sa Kahan. Sounds like he's been listening a lot to the music from that film, which was very decent.

Re: Reema’s “Koi Tujh Sa Kahan” and AR Rehman’s Jai ho

what’s wrong with veena malik :smack:

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

sTaLkEr- o really....hmmm can u post the link of both the sound tracks.

i do know reema did go to india for her movie but i doubt A R rehman nay usay koe importance dee hogi. besides acc. to wikipedia Amjad Bobby and Wajid Ali Nashaad were the music composer of that movie.

u know i just watch the entire clip :smack:

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

Vast majority of Pakistanis were not impressed with this soundtrack, and you're talking about it being stolen across the border?

hm. really....was there some kinda survey?

...it was actually played when A R rehman was getting the his golden globe award.

ps. well i like both the reema one and also A R rehman revamped version.

which song 4m movie yuvraaj?

anyway i think that starting of iz kind of similar. Although after like 2 mins of yuvraaj i think it changes a little …

but didn’t koi tujh sa kahan come out in 2005 an slumdog millionaire came out recently..i dun think deyre copies.. but happen to have a siliar begining.. the songs from koi tujh sa kahan are preety good though. i like that aja kar le pyar one.. and i like most of the songs from slumdog millionaire  jai ho iz kinda good:wink:

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

Not a copy at all...heard both clips and it really doesnt seem like a copy

Plus why does a genius like AR Rahman need to copy a 3rd class soundtrack of Koi Tujh Sa Kahaan?

Now please for gods sake, do not compare AR Rahman to the muziq director of KTSK.

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

Sadly, people are so overpowered by the awful image of the Lahore industry that they fail to recognize even if anything is good.

Amjad Bobby was a fantastic musician, his melodies were rarely ever "inspired", he churned a lot of interesting, melodious music that earned much fame within Pakistan. Probably not high brow enough for some (as is evident from this thread) but very sound melodically, if limited by shoddy arrangement, which was definitely not his area of expertise as he was a composer, not a music arranger.

Koi Tujh Sa Kahan had brilliantly composed music. The melodies were a million times more solid than most of your stuff from across the border which is either inspired (plagiarized) or is simple noise lol. But he's done great work, if you care to listen, in films like Inteha, Karz and even some Javed Sheikh productions.

Get over your inferiority complex, guys.

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

I am a hopeless supporter of the Pakistani industry, and I promise you there is not one Pakistani film song post 1970 that I ever play in my car or on my mp3. Amjad bobby was better compared to the others in Pakistan - probably even better than some of the pseudo-rockstars out there. Probably better than 80% of the trash churned out by India, which has a prolific industry and only top 1-2% really deserves recognition at an international level.

That doesn't mean Amjad bobby was a maestro.

I dont know what you mean by a maestro, but Amjad Bobby was certainly a great musician whose work was never done justice to by the shoddy (technically, and sometimes content wise too) films churned out by the Lahore industry. All of his films had some fine tunes. One of the best was "Ae Meri Aarzoo" from Inteha. Haven't heard anything like that till date.

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

amjad bobby was a gr8 composer. A R rehman is nothing but noise and *****-rona.

abb aisa bhi nahi hai :smack:

mere liey aisa hi hai aur rahay ha…

agar kisi to mere comment ke takleef hui ho to bohat hi acha hua hai. i’m proud of myself.

Re: Reema's "Koi Tujh Sa Kahan" and AR Rehman's Jai ho

yeah they r kind of similar....original pata nahi kis ka hai...well both r good..not bad...reema's one is done by udit narayan and jai ho is by sukhwinder singh

i love rehman...,,,he has a jadoo of making magical tunes...hats off to him

as for koi tujh sa kahan's music...compared to all other cheap movies n songs...the songs r nice n catchy...good attempt
