I had the honor of watching Reema’s GeetMala with, as the cover claimed, ‘Reema’s Greatest Hits’, titled ‘Khoobsoorat Reema’
She’s khoobsorat no doubt, but I was majorly disappointed though
whats with her? does she get the chance to see herself dancing? No rhythm, no nothing
She’ll be doing one step and then jump to the next step with no harmony
wait there’s a word, her dances look vulgar and josheelay and made me uncomfy
am not comparing but look at madhuri, she’s done some of the cheapest songs ever with such grace and they are a delight to watch
like ‘dhak dhak’ karnay laga
God knows what Reema will do with dhak dhak karnay laga

even the slower numbers are accompanied with Reema jumping up n down all hyper

I agree Anchal. She's supposed to be the best dancer in the film industry, but I honestly dont think so...also, the blame has to go onto the film industry's dance directors too - they can just ruin a perfectly good song by their vulgar interpretation of "classical dance".
However, I've seen some of Noor's dances and her movement is a lot better if the dances are coreographed decently.
one only needs to take a good look at Pappu Samaraat and his moves to understand where all those vulgar acrobatics come from.. the guy is so repulsive..
Puppo Samraat is supposedly the only dance choreographer around in Pakistan. Every movie that comes out has him choreographing the songs. Ugh!!
As for Reema, I don't know why she's considered the best dancer in the industry. She's just pukey, almost every song has her jiggling her thighs and chest. Eeeeegh :-S
Meera is the best dancer in the industry. Reema was done a long time ago. Almost all of Meeras numbers are a credit to her ability to pull off even the cheapest numbers with some grace. Reema on the other hand is going the Anjuman way - which is - down the tube.
I think Reema is gorgeous - she needs dancing lessons, and acting lessons.
Maybe then she'll do a lil better than what she's doing now. I feel kinda sorry for her though, cuz she put so much heart into the industry and now she's flicked aside like an unwanted flea on a coat.
