Okay, here's the truth. I think Reema's husband is very very old (I think he's 60+) and he has beady eyes.
Since we are being superficial, I second that thought. :)
I think it is relevent to discuss on superficial level because the person we are discussing herself is from the beauty industry, so to speak.
As they say "Aakhir Loag Hamara Chehra Hi To Dekhte Hain".
Since they claim that it was arranged, it really leaves one explanation from Reema for agreeing to this marriage, it was for a 'professional man and a muazziz family' - read 'money'.
I think she settled for less than she should have. She should have gone for both money and looks, besides a good family.
Oh come on guys! After knowing that all good looking young boys have already been taken, she took the decision to marry Daaktar Saab. She must have thought:
Coming to the topic, in past many actresses married aged man. Why is Reema being criticized for choosing a mature doolha? is age difference between a man and a woman not an acceptable norm in our society.
Goodness! How rude are people? Instead of wishing her the best for her future; her background has started to matter?
She is the only Pakistani actress who has improved herself so much. When outside Pakistan, she presents & represents us very well. Even the likes of Iman Ali, Veena Malik, Meera, Resham have sabotaged our impression with their talking, dressing etc. She is the only one who ends up talking decently & dressing decently. When she entered this aweful industry she was a teen. She outgrew the mess & learnt from her mistakes.
I have only prayers & best wishes for her, simply!
Were you on drugs when you said 'Qabool Hai' x 3 ?
Look at these pictures. A total mismatch. The guy looks like your dad or mamoon.
BTW, you look great! [Especially in the 2nd pic.]
[Did they write the famous song for year 2011 for Reema that goes "Mai Kya Karoon Raam Mujhe Buddha Mil Gyaa" ?
Reema also performed on it in front of Vejaintimala in a US Bollywood show in a tribute to the veteran actress.]
Very well said. There are filthy rich people in our society who have access to almost anything money can buy and still continue to sport appalling taste, aesthetics and refuse to budge from egotistical, primitive ideas. People like many on this thread who have had access to the best of education, can access ideas from the whole world at the click of the button and take many things for granted which the average Pakistani can not even dream of and YET they continue to bring up petty issues like someone's background, paternity etc. Grow up people! there was a time when such things were considered the norm but so was slavery, sexism, apartheid etc. The world has moved on as human beings continue to evolve and move towards a progressive approach to life in general. Wonder when our society catches on and realizes that true progress is not about sporting the latest Louis Vuitton bag but questioning trends, accepting views that might be different from ours, respecting art and artists etc. Until then we have no right to call ourselves civilized.
Here's wishing Reema the best of luck with the journey ahead and hoping she is able to carry herself with the same grace and dignity as she has been doing for a long time now. she truly is in the league of great artists like Sabiha, Zeba, Rani etc and we should give her due credit for that.
Although he looks horrible in his sherwani,he is an ordinary looking person. He is not the most handsome guy but I do not find anything wrong with him,and I speak of his looks...not his character which I know nothing of.
For all those wondering how old he is...Google...!!
He graduated from med school in 1984 acc to a website ,so that makes him around 50 years old.Reema is not 16 herself so I think they are not a mismatch.
I am not a Reema fan,but someone got married to someone they wanted to,so good for them..!
