MP3 files are already compressed. The only option you have is to re-encode it and reduce the VBR. Mostly, MP3 songs are encoded at 112kbps or higher. 128kbps is the perfact CD Quality. Reducing the bitrate would not only reduce the file size but also the sound quality.
