Female castration is cutting off the clitoris/part of the labia. Otherwise known as female circumcision, or otherwise known as MUTILATION. What you are suggesting is a sterilization, where she whouldn't be able to have a child. not necessarily reduce her libido (maybe as a side effect).
Maybe HE should get something to rev up his libido. Why should the woman suffer in a sex-less relationship?

Castration and sterilization have different meaning but do have 'some' similarity in intent.
Just to give you one idea. Castration may lead to loss of libido and being able to have children while sterilization may not affect libido at all and leads to inability to procreate.
Mutilation/circumcision of females is completely different scenario.
