Does anyone have a recipe for red velvet cake? I’ve tried a couple of recipes to make red velvet cupcakes, which although turned out quite nicely in terms of taste, didn’t have the bright red colour I was hoping for. Is there a specific trick to get that bright red colour without the addition of food colouring or other colouring agents?

Do you put the soda bi carb in vinegar and let it fizz??? Thats basically retains colour
