So once again Im bored with my look and the fastest way to change it up would be hair… and Im happy with the cut… so color is the next best way to give myself a makeover… initially I had planned on not killing my hair any further but I cant help myself…
Now Im thinking of red hair or blueblack for the winter… blonde just seems too summery and all that… I dont wanna go to the salon for all this… a home coloring box shall suffice this time around… anyone have good suggestions for which brand and which shade I should go for?
I agree...light hair is not good for the fall or winter. I took out all my highlights and went for the blue black but guess what I used? Kali Mehndi...I know it sounds wierd but I love the way my hair turned out and I get compliments all the time on it now.
I just recently dyed my hair using Viva from Wella. Shade was Pure Red. As before my hair colour was dark/lightish brown hair came out maroonish but none the less nice.

Keep in mind red fades... I did burgundy for 1 year... you have to re color it about once a month... what u can do is color it with a permanent color, and than go to sallys and get a semi or demi hair color to touch it up once a month that will cause less damge to your hair.

Shay- I tried on an auburn colored wig one time lol cuz I was seriously thinking of dying my hair that color... but i looked soooo horrible with that... like a complete wash out.... I want something that complements my skin tone too... I have alot of pink undertones and I dont want something thats gonna clash with it... I also dont wanna look like a goth with pale skin and too much red going on... I know theres got to be like the perfect shade of red for me... and it would help to go to a stylist for that, but yeah financially times are just hard I cant do that :p As for what color my hair is....its naturally straw colored... more towards a light blonde than a yellowblonde... but ive been dying it this color for ages now..
riya- ooohhh.. but the blonde suits you alot.. i think red would look really nice.. like a maroonish kinda color.

Kali Mehndi is something you will find at desi stores. Ive been dying my hair for ages and dont want it to undergo so much abuse anymore. I also spend a lot of money at salons and dont want to do that either. Im implementing a rule...Im only doing highlites once a year during the summer if I do. Otherwise no. Also, on my hair kali mehndi worked really well. I got a really nice jet black color and love it.
Riya, if you have very fair skin you might want to do a very pretty light brown - like Jennifer Aniston - I love the color of her hair. I know the darker you go, people start looking like they have no color. I would go darker for fall but nothing too dramatic - a soft look.
lolz i tried dis new product forgot tha name, its not a permanent dyer, stays on for like a week, dey have all te new crazy funky hair colorz, u shud try them , available anywhere like cvs walgreens walmart or general storez. i tried cherry kinda red it lookz HOT but my mom hatez it, since she findz it tooo emo kindish lolz but yea they r a gud way for experimenting wit ur look. :D
