Warning to anyone that has friends or family living in Japan. Never send red Christmas cards to anyone in there. Sending red Christmas cards constitutes bad etiquette since, in Japan, funeral notices are customarily printed in red. This is one mix up you do not want to get yourself into.

When I was younger I got told writing your name in red colour is bad...can't remember why or who told me though.

When I was younger, my teacher told me not to write questions with red pen, otherwise you'll get 'zero' in exam.
