I still see lots of red bridal. I don't see head-to-toe red all the time, but it's actually rare to find a bride without some red/maroon/shocking pink.

you're right- it does seem outdated these days but that'll probably mean it'll come back into fashion again! but i gotta say, i'm not a fan of red at all. i didn't ever want to wear red as a bride, and i didn't. the older generation in our family still insist its very dulhan-y, but i say you gotta wear what suits you and red just doesn't work for some complexions or weddings. so yeah. not a fan :p

Red is such a gorgeous color and there's different shades that suit different skin tones..... but it all boils down to what makes you comfortable...
I wore shocking pink on my wedding (And a giant nath :p) and maroon/red on my valima...
