Recycling Project

All divine books (Torah, Bible, etc.) reflected the wisdom of the age they were written in, and most of what is in these books does not apply to today’s thinking. For example, saying that it is ok for a male to be Polygamous, and Homosexuality is a sin punishable by death, and an Adulterer be stoned to death, etc. and an eye for an eye, just to give you a few examples. Then again, contradictions such as “thou shall not kill”. How can you have “an eye for an eye” and “thou shall not kill” in the same place. Stupid, in my opinion.

Surely these values made sense 2000 years ago, and surely it reflected the wisdom of that time, but to think like that in this day in age is ludicrous. These books belong in a recycling bin.

if someone shot u.. im sure ur mom would want the killer dead. thats eye for an eye.
keep ur dumb qadiani teachings to urself.

Mundyaa.. why don’t you stuff your shitty teachings in yourself? Dumbhead this is not Qadyani teachings. This is my personal teaching. Qadyani teachings is the same shitty version of your crap. Are you telling me that all Terrorists (muslim fanatics, that is) who kill innocent people should be killed? Or does your eye for an eye applies to people who don’t follow your outdated crap?

This issue is something that I have also thought a lot about. Quran allows slavery, wifebeating, polygamy under certain circumstances, revenge killing, sex with female slaves. All of these things seem wrong to me, and seem unnecessary in an advanced society. What do the rest of you think about this?

Issue is whether you believe Quran is genuine or not. If you believe it is then you will not worry about reason for this or that.

In the Quran Allah says that you might like something that is bad for you and you might dislike something that is good for you.

Anyway, everybody has got free will so they can choose whichever path they like. IMO one leads to a good society with upright people and the other leads to swinery, prostituion, drugs and homosexuality.

I think God also wants you to use you brain, which is what we are doing by having a discussion. In this case I am asking you what you brain is telling you. I don't think you should completely turn it off, even when it comes to religion.
