Recruiter Websites For International Positions

For those of you in business type professional fields, where do you go about searching for international jobs? Does anyone know about the link above? It requires a $30 monthly subscription to use it. Any advice?

Re: Recruiter Websites For International Positions

I did a quick google search and apparently there are mixed ratings for the site. Its recommended by a few and reported by some. They don’t allow posts on their fb page so you might not be able to get feedback from the actual site users. Does it allow you to create a free account and test the features before you opt for a paid membership?

If I was looking for a job in business professional field, I’ll update my LinkedIn profile, get endorsements from peers or seniors and then look for the jobs posted on that portal. Since its mainly a networking tool, that features helps a lot with applying for jobs that never get advertised. (A bit time consuming but very effective tool)

Thanks ED! I will mention it to my husband. I figured I'll ask for him, he wasn't so sure about signing up for this site. It doesn't allow to use a free account. You have to sign up. He uses LinkedIn but no luck from there. I think because its so public, hes iffy about putting to much information on there since it also attracts a lot of spam.

I heard it was a scam website.

Yeah eh? Seemed like it.

Re: Recruiter Websites For International Positions

This is what the website representative had to say about the services offered.

*Our head office is located in Hong Kong and our contact center is located in India.

**With the Gold Membership you will be able to search for vacancies using the search option on the website and also you will be able to apply for them from the website.

*
*With the Platinum Membership you will be able to search for vacancies using the search option on the website as well as you will be assigned a Personal Job Manager who will send you vacancies as per your requirements.

If you subscribe to our Platinum Membership, your Personal Job Hunt Manager (who is a real person) will search vacancy boards, employment agency and corporate vacancy pages on your behalf. Our role is to help you find vacancies that match your requirement; save your time processing the applications and manage feedback from independent recruiters.*
*
We have a specialised team who update jobs from different job sites on our website so that job seekers do not have to waste time in searching jobs on different website

*
We never guarantee any job offers through our services, it totally depends upon the employers, if they shortlist your profile then they will contact you which we cannot influence at all.

Now you can evaluate if that's what you are looking for (or not).

Based on the above details, I won't call them a scam because they are not really promising anything. For the membership fee they are letting you see and apply to the jobs and that's pretty much it.

Re: Recruiter Websites For International Positions

^ It is a sort of scam, my friend signed up with them they robbed 248 dollars of him and he hasn't heard nothing. They also have a couple of websites with the same details and the same people. A lot of jobs they list are not actually available at all as they have no further details and all you get is e-mails full of 'job alerts' but no more contact no real jobs nothing. Just money so your application can be ''forwarded'', to who noone knows.

This was last year. No idea about now.

Now these are valid points:hmmm:

Re: Recruiter Websites For International Positions

This website sounds familiar. And after reading about their headquarters and contact center. It becomes even more obvious that it must be a scam.

Reminds me of this one time I registered on another website (jobsindubai.com). I signed up just to see if it really works.
All it does is send you email full of vacancies and opportunities. Though it remains to that. People can apply to those vacancies, though never get to hear from any employer/company.

After 3 months or so when I told them to refund my money. They started telling stories that it will take a while until bla bla bla.. this and that. I was like when you wanted to receive there was no fuss from me, so why now the delay?
A lot of emails and even international phone calls later. I got the money back.
It took a while to get the money back and not even all of it. With deductions and only through Western Union, which also deducted further more from the total amount, due to the exchange rates.

So a lesson learnt the hard way. :@: Never again.

First of all, keep this in mind when registering at any such Website. They always should have a ‘Free’ type membership on offer, so anyone can register and test out the services. If they really like it, and it is what they are looking for. People should be allowed to test drive and actually see it works. Then people will freely and willingly join and will be happy to even pay a little fee for the services.

So my advise is: in any other case. Don’t “pay first and join later” to only find out that it was a waste of time and money and effort not to mention.

Recently, I also came across another website. It was so badly setup and designed that even at first look I was like this must be fake and a scam. The technology used was so mediocre. And only after a few minutes browsing through the site, I could confirm surely that it was definitely a scam. The website was supposed to be a “Freelancer” website, and apparently it guaranteed you jobs. But the only catch was that you buy a subscription to get to see the jobs on offer. Which was not much around 15 to 20 USD. But all 3 packages were the same :rotfl: I mean no difference, but still they managed to ask 3 different package fee for each :smack:
