i just got a priscripton for yaz on my 6 week postpartum check up with my doc. thats what i was using before and thats what I’m gonna use after. works good on me.

going on the pill, there are so many different kinds what works for one doesn’t always suit everyone, if you are breastfeeding though then you shouldn’t be on the combined pill and then in that situation doctors recommend the mini pill (progesterone only pill)..also you could have the iud coil fitted but again not comfortable for everyone

I looked into gettin the copper coil, but am such a freak - cuz it scares me.

Implanon, thats what i have used before and now after my youngest, everything has side affects so you mght aswell try it and see if its for you.

Forgot to say implanon is a implant which they insert in your arm and lasts about 3 years

I took injection but it had side effects on me like persistent headaches fever nausea so i didnt took the next dose…Allah malik hai!

Well the only one i got is a period every Two weeks and very less than normal but i wasnt too bothered about that, it was better than getting pregnant again!

have you considered relieving your husband in other ways? because thats what I did after pregnancy.

BCP if you’re disciplined enough to take the pills in a timely manner
Condoms for the ease
Combination of bcp & condoms if you want to be super strict
IUD if you don’t want to have to think about it for 3-5 years
Not an advocate of the good ol fashioned “pull out”, too risky IMO (and messy too )
Risk of blood clots on bcp scares me

Did your sis gain any weight? I heard if your period is Stopped by implant, you gain lots of weight.

yes my cousin gained more weight after implanon than she had during her pregnancy
