world's fair marina in queens..
ther'es plenty of gorgeous hotels in westchester...
marina del ray in Bronx...
nawab palace and bukhara (or bokhari, i keep forgetting) in Brooklyn....
i went to 2-3 weddings held at Hilton hotels in New Jersey (fort lee)
bombay palace in midtown-manhattan (went to a wedding there abt 5 yrs ago)
nyota restaurant in Westchester (my brother's valima was there)
If you can afford it, waldorf astoria :D
Cotillion in Long Island is pretty nice
and finally there's always kabab king in Jackson Heights :D

Photography, erm, i dont know any personally... you can always just go in yellow paegs..
as for makeup, well we all know the #1---Raheela (not #1 as in quality but as in familiarity)... theres also a fwe in queens, and long island and NJ but i dont know em :p

Lastly, if money is no object, then in NY, it doesn’t get better than Oheka Castle… http://www.oheka.com/ lol. good luck.
